Its All About Grip!Your tyres are probably the most important component on your vehicle especially in snow and slush conditions. The legal minimum requirement of tread depth is 1.6mm over ‚¾ of the tyres tread width with no visible bald areas. In snow however, especially if your tyres are more of a summer type tread pattern, i.e. lots of flat rubber areas without treads, anything less than 4mm will render your tyres fairly useless.
