What is Advanced Driving?Advanced driving is acquiring knowledge and improving your driving skills above the level of the DSA driving test. There are two main areas of training: Advanced Driving On Road CoursesAdvanced driving courses can be provided in all areas of the UK. They are a half day or a full day of training using your vehicle. The instruction is provided by a specially trained instructor who is a fully qualified DSA approved ADI (Advanced Driving Instructor) See the links below for more information on advanced driving. Advanced Driving On Track coursesWe also provide a wide range of driver training courses based at our York Vehicle Dynamics Facility. The training is provided by professional motorsport instructors. See the link below for more information on our track courses Advanced driver training if you drive whilst at workIf you drive whilst at work and cover more than 20,000 miles per year, your risk of being injured whilst at work is similar to that of a quarry worker! This puts you around third in the dangerous jobs league! This fact has not gone unnoticed by the government. There is now new legislation to protect company drivers which insists that companies have a policy in place that goes some way to manage their occupational road risk.
