The City of York is just a few minutes driving time from our main event location at Elvington. York is a picturesque and diverse place and perfect for arranging a corporate event.

Most of our company driver guests arrive the day before, with many companies combining the fun element of learning new driving skills with a chance to bring their teams together for meetings or other training requirements.

We can help you plan your company event and recommend hotels, training venues, accommodation and other things to do that will make your event a memorable one long after your delegates have returned home.

Accommodation – We recommend Hotel 53 in York. It’s location close to the City centre is perfect for planning a meal out without being too far to drive to our venue. Located on the eastern side, it also means that drivers won’t have a time consuming drive to us the following day.

For a flavour of some of the best things York has to offer, the Visit York website is a great place to begin. There are literally countless great places to eat out in the evening and for those who wish to take in some of the spectacular and history elements of York, here are just a few of the interesting things to see inside the City.

York Minster – The spectacular York Minster is the centrepiece of York and can be seen from all corners of the City. Regardless of your religious persuasion, it’s English Gothic architecture has to be experienced close up.

National Railway Museum – free to enter, the railway museum has interesting exhibits spanning the entire history of rail travel.

The Shambles – Globally famous, the York Shambles has overhanging timber framed buildings, some dating back to the fourteen century. Always busy, it’s worth taking a stroll along this narrow historic street.
