Lionel Firn has worked as a motorsport’s instructor for around 15 years but now he tends to run the days at our Elvington venue and does most of the briefings and presentations on the day. He also works back at the office at times handling enquiries and bookings.

Instructing Experience
Working as a professional motorsport driver and instructor for Race Schools, Rally Driving Schools, Car Manufacturers, Military Special Forces and High Profile Bodyguards at tracks and venues world wide. He also regularly trains actors and stunt drivers in vehicle control skills.
He set up DriverSkills three and a half years ago and he has overseen its rapid growth to become one of the leading specialised driver training companies in the UK.

Lionel has also been appearing on TV recently for both the BBC and Sky Tv on the Used Car Roadshow as their performance driving instructor and test driver.
