Daily Mail writer Victoria Moore recently visited DriverSkills Vehicle Dynamics Centre at York to gain some insight into how to drive a car safely in snow and ice conditions. The visit was prompted by the heavy snow in the UK in January 2010 and the weather conditions were perfect for the training – 6 inches of snow!!
Our skid pan courses don’t usually run in January as the weather can make it difficult for people travelling to our venue. But intrepid Victoria jumped on a train (still running despite the snow!) from London to York for a real arctic experience with our chief instructor Lionel Firn!
