The DriverSkills Rally Team

Stage Rallies 

Our successful rally team regularly takes part in rallies in the north of England. The car has been built and developed over the past year and has proved very competitive in the 2 wheel drive category winning on 2 occasions from the last 3 events.

Constant Development

The last event which was the Riponian Rally on the 15th March 2009 was the first full forest event for the new car and team. The differential and rear suspension settings on the car caused a few problems for our driver on the fast bumpy stages which were a feature of this event. The basic problem was that the car tried to fire itself off the road if there was any bump or change of road surface in a bend and the faster the bend the worse it seemed to be.

The team are confident that they now have a cure for this problem and plan another outing soon when they hope to be back to finishing in first spot.
